Warragul is truly the garden of West Gippsland. It is located in pleasant, green undulating country between the Strzelecki Ranges and the Baw Baw plateau. The climate and topography have made Warragul famous as one of Australia's richest dairying areas. Well served by rail and road, Warragul is easily accessible from Melbourne. It is also close to Westernport Bay, holiday resorts on the coastline to the south, and the Baw Baws for bushwalking and snow skiing.
